New Reception Class 2026

The Reception children at St. Ethelbert's Catholic Primary School and Nursery are already in school full time from Monday 7th September, after just two half days, and they have settled in incredibly well! The Early Years Lead and Reception teacher Miss Rees said

At St. Ethelbert's, we feel it is important to start the children full time as soon as possible so they become accustomed to the rules and routines. We have found that this settles the children a lot quicker and the children are already engaged with lots of purposeful learning opportunities.

Miss Rees also states that they have worked hard to improve the learning environments over the last few years and this has made a massive positive impact for the children. Well done Reception Class!
