Breakfast Club 

At breakfast club our aim is:

 · To provide a welcoming, safe and secure environment for pupils before the beginning of the school day;

 · To continue to build positive links/relationships with parents;

· To provide children with a nutritious breakfast at the start of the day in a pleasant and relaxed environment;

· To provide a calm play environment in which for children can engage socially with children from other year groups, therefore strengthening relationships in the school community.

The children are offered a nutritious breakfast of cereals and toast and a drink and is open to pupils from Reception to Year 6 from 7.45am until 8.40am. 

Breakfast is available from 7.45am to 8.25am.

At 8.35 the children collect their belongings and are escorted to their classrooms by Breakfast Club staff.

The cost is £2.50 per session per child.

We are delighted to be able to offer our new wrap-around care provision at St Ethelbert’s from 7.45am until
5.20pm, Monday to Friday. Breakfast club will remain as it is now, starting at 7.45am at a cost of £2.50
per day, per child. After school, we can now offer children care from 3.20pm until 5.20pm. This is open
for children from Reception to Year 6. The cost will be £6.50 per day, per child to cover wages, resources
and food. This will include two hours of after school provision such as arts and crafts, outdoor play and a
small snack and drink such as beans on toast. You may want the provision everyday due to work
commitments or ad hoc days. Either way, you must pre book and pay in advance via school money. The
booking system will go live today. We will have to cap numbers each day to 30 children. Children can be
collected no later than 5.20pm at Dane Park Road entrance.

Wrap Around Care will be available from Monday 16th September.
